Notarize from Windows or Linux
The last step of cross-compiling is the only one that needs macOS.
Cross-compiling a macOS build from Windows or Linux is solved — electron-builder, Tauri's CI, Godot exports all produce a .app without a Mac. Then distribution stops cold: signing and notarization refuse to run anywhere but macOS.
macbuild is that missing last step. Upload the unsigned zip; Apple hardware runs the codesign → notarytool → stapler chain and returns an artifact your macOS users can open without right-click tricks.

TestFlight, done
The signed IPA uploads to TestFlight automatically. You get an email; your testers get a build.

What you get
Auto-detects your stack
pubspec.yaml → Flutter. package.json + ios/ → React Native. A root .xcodeproj → bare Xcode. Zero config unless you want it.
Live build logs
Stream xcodebuild output in your browser while the build runs — no guessing what broke.
Cached, fast rebuilds
Per-project pub, node_modules, and DerivedData caches. Cached rebuilds target under 15 minutes.
Your keys stay yours
Sign with your own App Store Connect API key — encrypted at rest, decrypted only into an ephemeral keychain per build. macbuild never stores p12s.
Artifacts, signed & temporary
IPAs and dSYMs land as signed download links, expiring after 7 days. Nothing lives forever.
Notified, not nagged
Email or Slack when a build finishes or fails. Watch it live if you'd rather.
Questions
Which build tools does this work with?
Anything that produces a .app bundle inside a zip — Electron (electron-builder), Tauri, Godot, Unity, or a plain SwiftPM release build from CI.
Is my binary executed on your machines?
No. Uploads are untrusted input: validation uses non-executing tools only, and the build pipeline never runs your artifact's code.
What does it cost?
$7 per notarized artifact through the same credit wallet as builds — one free probe a month to try it.
